Job Description – Systems Engineer

Compensation : 2.20 Lakh Per Annum

JOB DESCRIPTION

Concierge Technologies, all IT solution, is looking for a system engineer to join our team. The position will entail working directly with our client base as an outside technical field engineer (post- sales engineering). The focus will be on network infrastructure and security projects. Example projects include configuring Windows servers, deploying MS Exchange Server, managing backup and storage systems, troubleshooting server problems, and securing networks. In addition, some time will be spent assisting the sales department with the creation of valid configurations

and quotes for technical solutions (pre-sales engineering).

Knowledge on migrating from Exchange 2000/2003 to Exchange 2007 Linux systems configuration, administration, and security

Background in network security (OS hardening, security audits, penetration testing, etc.)

Knowledge on IT field administering Windows Server and Exchange Servers

MCSE 2003 Certification

Exchange 2003 Certification

Firm understanding of Microsoft based networks and Microsoft operating systems

Understanding of basic and advanced networking concepts (IP Addressing, routing, switching, OSI, DHCP, DNS, SMTP, protocol analysis, etc.)

Basic storage knowledge (DAS, SAN, NAS, backup and recovery, etc.)

Ability to troubleshoot a technical problem in an efficient and logical manner

Create and maintain documentation as it relates to network configurations

Conduct research on network products, services, protocols, and standards

Advanced industry certifications such as CCISP,

FNCNE, MCSE, CCNP, JNCIS, etc.

Knowledge on high-end storage (SAN, HSM, etc.)
